Trump Receives Calls from Children Inquiring About Santa Claus's Whereabouts

U.S. President Donald Trump welcomed Christmas at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. Together with his wife, Melania Trump, he followed tradition by taking calls from children curious about Santa Claus's location.

This year, as in previous years, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) tracks Santa's movements around the planet. The command's staff reports to the president, who in turn informs the children.

However, this year Trump announced that authorities checked Santa's reliability before allowing him to enter the U.S. “Santa is a really good guy,” Trump told one of the calling children. “We wanted to make sure he’s not a penetrated Santa. That we’re not leaving the country with a bad Santa. So we found out that Santa is good.”
