‘Hurry up, shut up, don’t speak at all’. Vardan Ghukasian reprimands his son during court hearing

During a court session at the Anti-Corruption Court, Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasian reprimanded his son, Spartak Ghukasian, for speaking out of turn. The judge issued a warning regarding the outburst, directed at Vardan Ghukasian.

Spartak Ghukasian attempted to say something from his seat, but his father interrupted him, stating, ‘Hurry up, shut up, don’t speak at all.’

Throughout the session, Vardan Ghukasian prompted those present in the courtroom to applaud. ‘Do we have the right to applaud? Shall we remain silent? Fine, I apologize,’ Ghukasian responded after the judge pointed out that applauding was not appropriate in court.

The judge remarked, ‘You are in a courtroom; you are not participating in any event, you are not an audience to applaud, this is a court session, and you should remain silent. We will exclude such behavior in the future.’
