Trump Calls for Suspension of Licenses for Networks with Negative Coverage

US President Donald Trump has sharply criticized several American television networks, claiming that their news and entertainment programs are biased against him and the Republican Party. Trump made these remarks on his Truth Social platform.

“If television news broadcasts and their evening shows have nearly 100% negative coverage of President Donald Trump, MAGA, and the Republican Party, shouldn't their very valuable broadcasting licenses be suspended? I say yes,” he wrote.

In a separate post, Trump criticized the hosts of CBS, ABC, and NBC's evening entertainment programs, noting that they share three common traits: “high salaries, lack of talent, and extremely low ratings.”
