Russia Questions Ukraine's Commitment to Peace Agreements: Zelensky
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that Russia is questioning Ukraine's adherence to peace agreements, asserting that Kyiv has not fulfilled the Minsk agreements, which he claims is a shared opinion among Americans and Russians.
“You need to understand the Americans, who have been in dialogue with the Russians for months, and they say, yes, what is the point, whether they sign or do not sign. They signed the Minsk agreements but did not implement them. This is the common opinion of the Americans and the Russians—that Ukraine has not fulfilled them,” Zelensky said.
He emphasized that Ukraine is not entering discussions about whether it is right or wrong. Kyiv's task is to defend its own interests, he highlighted.
