Russia Has Made a Proposal to the U.S.

Russia has proposed to direct frozen Russian assets towards the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip. This was announced by Alexander Shokhin, president of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

According to him, it is theoretically possible to consider a scenario in which the United States would persuade European countries to use the frozen funds for humanitarian and reconstruction projects. He cited the restoration of infrastructure in the Gaza Strip as an example.

Shokhin emphasized that this could involve funding specific projects rather than direct transfers.

It should be noted that the proposal is currently at the discussion stage and is not accompanied by official decisions or international agreements. The fate of frozen Russian assets continues to remain on the international political agenda.
