Here Lies the Government's Issue: On Gasoline Prices

Dear compatriots, I recently saw a post in the media stating that gasoline from Azerbaijan will essentially be sold as premium gasoline at a price of 430 drams, while such gasoline typically costs 500-520 drams in our country. This means it will be sold at a price up to 90 drams lower, which is good. Of course, I also saw that some citizens stated they are not planning to buy that gasoline, and so on. This was shared in a video by the Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan.

“Dear citizens, you are free; that is our issue — you should be free to choose whatever gasoline you want. You can decide where to buy from, and it is the government's responsibility to ensure the availability of as many different types and a wide variety of products as possible. There should be uninterrupted supply routes to ensure that this gasoline and other goods are always available in Armenia. We should also monitor the quality so that you are not shortchanged in quantity. Here lies the government's issue; the rest is up to you,” said Papoyan.
