Security Guards Approached in Nubarashen, Told 'Things Will Change Soon': Avinyan
Without violating anyone's presumption of innocence, I must say that a day or two before the fire at the Nubarashen landfill, security guards were approached and told some very strange sentences, particularly that 'things will change here soon.' I think our assumption that there is a human factor involved is quite logical.
This was stated today by the Mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan, during a press conference.
“A large-scale work has been done recently at the Nubarashen landfill. All vehicle entries have been regulated. This means that a clear fee has been established for entry, the entire landfill area has been equipped, cameras have been installed, and lighting has been set up. We have also announced that a two-phase competition has been declared for the construction of a new waste management facility in the vicinity of Nubarashen, with a deadline set until March 27,” added Avinyan.
