Father of the Murdered Valodya Grigoryan Summoned by the Ministry of Internal Affairs: Details

On September 23, 2025, Valodya Grigoryan and criminal police officer Karen Abrahamyan were murdered. Yesterday marked the third month since the unfortunate killing, yet there is still no sign of the ordering party or parties. This was reported by Armlur.am.

"Two residents of Mrdzavan, Narek Ohanyan and Gevorg Harutyunyan, have been arrested in connection with the criminal case. Valodya Grigoryan's relatives told us that there are indeed ordering parties. Narek Ohanyan, who is arrested in the murder case, is a relative of the former leader of Mrdzavan, Mher Akhtoyan, and according to rumors in the community, he left the country 10 days after Valodya Grigoryan's murder, raising significant suspicions," the newspaper wrote.

Moreover, three months have passed since the murder, and law enforcement continues to monitor the homes of the arrested individuals and others allegedly involved to prevent any potential vendetta in Mrdzavan.

However, this is not the end of the matter. According to information we received from the law enforcement system, recently the father of the deceased Valodya Grigoryan, Lyova Grigoryan, was invited to the Ministry of Internal Affairs to discuss the potential return of the families of those arrested in connection with his son’s murder and any persons connected to the case to the Mrdzavan community.

The law enforcement system has realized that tensions in Mrdzavan have not eased and that the return of relatives of those arrested or the Akhtoyans in general poses a danger to the Mrdzavan community," the newspaper reported.
