Arthur Davtyan Meets All Requirements for Grandmaster Title

Armenian chess player Arthur Davtyan has fulfilled all the requirements for obtaining the grandmaster title, reports the Armenian Chess Federation.

“Arthur Davtyan has become the sole winner of the regional tournament ‘GM PUTNIK 95’ held in Serbia and has completed his final, third grandmaster norm. It is noteworthy that Arthur's rating has already surpassed the necessary threshold of 2500, which allows him to receive the grandmaster title,” the federation stated.
