Anglo-Saxons Seek to Undermine Global Orthodoxy: Medvedev

Anglo-Saxons are striving to damage the positions of global Orthodoxy by "attacking" the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), stated Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia.

On Wednesday, the magazine "Rodina" published Medvedev's article titled "How the Anglo-Saxons Fostered Ukrainian Nationalism After World War II."

"Another goal of the Anglo-Saxons at the Ukrainian front remains to undermine the positions of global Orthodoxy. The Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) enjoyed the highest credibility among Ukrainians across all regions of the country. The canonical Orthodox Church had more influence in society than all branches of government combined," Medvedev wrote.
