Black Boxes Confirm Illegal Physical Interference: AZAL Vice President

The Vice President of AZAL Airlines, Ilham Amirzadeh, has announced that the investigation into the crash of flight J2-8243 in Aktau is ongoing. According to him, the preliminary report on the incident indicates illegal physical interference.

“After analyzing the data from the black boxes, it has become clear that three critical systems of the aircraft simultaneously malfunctioned due to external force,” Amirzadeh stated. He added that the preliminary report prepared by the commission established for the accident investigation was submitted at the end of January of this year. The commission was formed in Kazakhstan and has been studying the circumstances of the incident for about a year.

At the same time, as emphasized by the AZAL Vice President, the final report is not yet ready. The results of the investigation are significant not only for ensuring aviation safety but also for assessing potential risks in international air transportation.
