This is a Long-Term Strategy Aimed at Creating a Powerful Region: Iranian President
The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, has stated in a message addressed to the Supreme Council of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) that cooperation between Iran and the member countries of the union is a long-term strategy aimed at creating a powerful region. This was reported by the IRNA agency.
“Iran's cooperation with EEU member states is a long-term strategy directed towards the establishment of a powerful region, strengthening national sovereignties, facilitating transport connections and trade, enhancing energy security, developing technologies, as well as creating joint financial and banking infrastructures and expanding contacts between peoples,” Pezeshkian's statement said. He emphasized that the future belongs to those peoples who pave their way to progress through cooperation and mutual trust.
It is noteworthy that leaders of EEU member states, including the Prime Minister of Armenia and the Presidents of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, participated in the EEU summit.
