Russian General Killed: Details

Russian Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov has been killed as a result of an explosion in his vehicle in Moscow. "The incident occurred due to the detonation of the automobile, in which the serviceman was present. The man died from the injuries sustained," reported the local investigative committee.

It should be noted that earlier reports indicated an assassination attempt had been made against Major General Fanil Sarvarov of the Russian Armed Forces.
