Peskov on the Cancellation of Aliyev's Visit

The Kremlin has approached the cancellation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's visit to St. Petersburg with understanding, attributing it to the leader's extremely busy work schedule.

Russia's presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated in a conversation with reporters that the cancellation of the visit does not affect the overall dynamics of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan. According to him, Moscow and Baku continue to develop their partnership and friendly ties in various directions.

Peskov emphasized that there is ongoing dialogue between the parties in both political and economic as well as humanitarian spheres, and high-level communications continue in various formats.
