US Seizes Tanker Near Venezuelan Shores

The US Coast Guard has seized an oil tanker near the shores of Venezuela, as announced on social media by Secretary of the US Department of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem. The head of the agency emphasized that the US will continue to combat the illegal transfer of sanctioned oil, which Venezuelan authorities are allegedly using to finance drug trafficking.

Additionally, it was previously reported that the United States attempted to intercept another vessel near the Venezuelan coast.
