The Cathedral as the KGB or the Cathedral of the Holy: No Third Option, Vahagn Aleksanyan

Vahagn Aleksanyan, a member of the 'Civil Contract' faction of the National Assembly of Armenia, writes:

“In fact, there are two visions for the future of the Church in the Armenian political landscape:

1. ‘The Cathedral as the KGB,’ which is promoted and defended by various KGB agents, self-proclaimed marginal groups in the opposition, Russian oligarchs, and others.
2. ‘The Cathedral of the Holy,’ which is advocated by forces protecting Armenia's sovereignty, led by the Prime Minister.

There is no third option,” wrote Vahagn Aleksanyan, a member of the 'Civil Contract' faction.
