Files Related to Epstein Case Disappear from US Department of Justice Website

At least 16 files related to the Jeffrey Epstein case, including photographs with President Donald Trump, have been removed from the US Department of Justice's website without explanation.

According to Associated Press, within 24 hours, photos of Donald Trump featuring Jeffrey Epstein, Melania Trump, and Ghislaine Maxwell were taken down. Additionally, images depicting naked women and photographs showcasing Epstein's personal belongings in drawers and cabinets were also removed.

The US Department of Justice has not clarified the reasons behind the removal of these files and has not provided the public with information regarding the rationale for this action. However, the department indicated that “the photos and other materials will continue to be reviewed and edited in accordance with the law, taking precautions when additional information becomes available.”

Earlier, the US Department of Justice had released part of the Epstein case file, which included approximately 3,965 files, most of which were photographs. The files were divided into four groups: some were standalone images, while others consisted of multi-page documents.

It is worth noting that Epstein was accused of organizing visits for dozens of underage girls to his Manhattan home and private island between 2002 and 2005. According to investigators, the youngest of those invited was just 14 years old. The financier was found in a semi-conscious state in his prison cell in 2019.
