IAEA Demands Access to Iranian Facilities

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) continues to assert the necessity of having full access to Iran's nuclear facilities in order to verify Tehran's statements regarding their safety and actual condition. This was stated by IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to him, Iran's nuclear program is not limited to the three facilities that are often discussed on international platforms. While these facilities play a significant role in uranium processing, conversion, and enrichment processes, Iran's nuclear infrastructure is much broader.

Grossi noted that Iran possesses an advanced nuclear program that includes a significant research component and numerous other facilities across the country. Among these is the Bushehr nuclear power plant, as well as plans for the construction of new nuclear power plants.

The IAEA chief added that the agency continues its work in all directions, regardless of statements claiming that Iran's nuclear facilities have been allegedly destroyed. According to him, monitoring and inspections remain among the agency's primary functions.
