Peace in Ukraine Impossible Without US-Russia Agreement, Says Szijjarto
The resolution of the Ukrainian conflict and the establishment of a stable security system in Europe cannot occur without a political agreement between the United States and Russia. This statement was made by Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Péter Szijjártó.
According to Szijjártó, the current geopolitical situation indicates that the ongoing war surrounding Ukraine is not merely a regional issue but has global repercussions for European security. He emphasized that without understanding between Washington and Moscow, achieving either a stable ceasefire or long-term peace is impossible.
The Hungarian Foreign Minister believes that the prolongation of the conflict exacerbates the security crisis, increases economic and energy risks, and negatively impacts the populations of European countries.
