Papuaashvili on the 'Civilizational Abyss' Between Georgia and the EU

The Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuaashvili, has made a strong statement regarding the relationship with the European Union and criticized the work of the European Parliament.

Papuaashvili noted that if anyone is interested in seeing what the "civilizational abyss of Europe" looks like, they should watch one of the European Parliament sessions. According to him, instead of constructive discussions, hostility predominates there.

The Speaker emphasized that such an approach deepens the existing discrepancies between Georgia and European structures and does not contribute to the development of mutual respect and equal dialogue.
