Oil Prices Drop

On Friday morning, oil prices have slightly decreased, marking the end of the second consecutive week in negative territory.

Brent crude oil futures for February have fallen by $0.10 (0.17%) to $59.72 per barrel on the London ICE Futures exchange. On Thursday, the contract had risen by $0.14 (0.2%) to $59.82 per barrel.

WTI crude oil futures for January dropped by $0.13 (0.23%) to $56.02 per barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX). In the previous auction, these contracts had increased by $0.21 (0.4%) to $56.15 per barrel.
