Nearly 100 Drones Shot Down in Russia Overnight, Tensions Remain High
Russian air defense systems destroyed 94 Ukrainian drones over the territory of Russia during the night. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to official information, 36 drones were shot down in the Rostov region, 17 in Belgorod, and another 15 in Voronezh. It was noted that 7 drones were destroyed over the Caspian Sea, 6 each in the Samara and Astrakhan regions, and 5 in the waters of the Sea of Azov.
Additionally, one drone was shot down in both the Kursk region and the Krasnodar Territory. The Russian Ministry of Defense did not provide additional details regarding possible damages or casualties.
Earlier reports indicated that due to a night attack carried out by Russia, a critical infrastructure facility was damaged in Odesa. As a result, several areas of the city remain without water supply, electricity, and heating.
