Darkness, Coldness, and Outages: What Happened in Odesa Overnight
As a result of a night attack carried out by Russia, a crucial infrastructure facility in Odesa has been damaged. Consequently, several areas of the city are left without water supply, electricity, and heating.
The Peresip district has been the hardest hit, where, according to city authorities, the outages have affected residential neighborhoods. Damage to residential buildings has also been recorded, leaving many citizens without basic living conditions during the winter.
According to the city administration, the situation is complicated, and relevant services are working to eliminate the damages. It is also noted that for safety reasons, several schools in Odesa are partially shifting to remote learning.
