EU to Join US-Led Negotiations for the First Time

The European Union will join negotiations involving the United States for the first time. According to German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, representatives from the EU will participate in talks scheduled for December 20-21, featuring special representatives of US President Donald Trump, as well as delegations from Ukraine and Russia.

Merz has also confirmed that Ukraine is secured funding for the upcoming two years, thanks to the provision of €90 billion. According to Politico, the negotiations will take place in Miami.

Trump's representatives will hold separate meetings with the Ukrainian and Russian delegations.
