Edmon Marukyan: Ruben Rubinyan has long been my coffee server and continues to be my coffee server

Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan wrote on his Facebook page that Edmon Marukyan offered to leave the "Enlightened Armenia" party before stepping down from his position as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary, when the Prime Minister had not accepted him for months, if that was the problem.

In an interview with Aysor.am, Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the "Enlightened Armenia" party, stated that all of Rubinyan's statements about him are false.

"All the statements made by Rubinyan about me, both in the past, now and in the future, are lies. And I will not respond to him every time. I have said several times that all his statements are false; he is a frivolous person by nature, which has long been evident to me. For a long time he has been my coffee server, and he continues to be my coffee server. He was my coffee server during the 'Yelk' alliance, and even when I was ambassador, he was still my coffee server. How can I comment on the statements of my coffee server?" said Marukyan.

He pointed out that he criticized the authorities for buying petroleum products from Azerbaijan, which is why they referred to him. "Now, when I criticized them for purchasing petroleum products from an enemy state at the expense of our people's money and thus financing the army that occupies our territory, they are naturally outraged and do not respond to the substance; they just say, 'Edmon Marukyan this, Edmon Marukyan that,'" Marukyan added.
