US Seeks Compromise on Donbas Issue, Zelensky Details

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that the United States is looking for a compromise solution regarding the Donbas, considering the positions of the parties involved in the conflict. According to Zelensky, one of the main demands from the Russian side is the withdrawal of Ukrainian armed forces from Donbas, but this condition is unacceptable for Kyiv. Therefore, he said, the US is trying to develop a solution that could be acceptable to both sides.

Zelensky also informed that the Ukrainian delegation has once again traveled to the United States to discuss the details of the peace plan. He noted that this time, representatives from European countries may also participate in the negotiations. In his statement, diplomatic communications continue, and Kyiv is ready to engage in discussions in a format that does not jeopardize Ukraine's interests and sovereignty.
