They Will Become Subjects of Intense Discussions: Ursula von der Leyen
The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, has announced that the European Union aims to agree on a funding mechanism for Ukraine for the upcoming two years today. In a conversation with journalists, she mentioned that she has presented two funding options that are currently under discussion.
The first option involves funding through the EU budget via budgetary loans, while the second is in the form of a loan intended for damage compensation.
"I have presented two proposals, and they will become subjects of intense discussions," said the President of the European Commission.
