Putin May Abandon Diplomacy, Says Zelensky

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin may withdraw from diplomatic processes if the European Union fails to provide the compensation loan earmarked for Ukraine.

He indicated that this concerns approximately 200 billion euros held within the EU, and the matter currently depends solely on political will. Zelensky mentioned that he is heading to Brussels to discuss this issue, where the decision is already on the agenda.

The president also emphasized that any war ends with negotiations, but it is crucial for Ukraine to commence them from a position of strength.
