Peace Established Between Armenia and Azerbaijan Creates Political Conditions, Says Pashinyan
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan commented on the transportation of oil products from Azerbaijan to Armenia and welcomed the development: “Yes, I also saw that the train carrying oil products from Azerbaijan has moved and is coming to Armenia. I welcome this development,” said the Prime Minister.
Pashinyan stated that the trade occurs between private companies, but it is the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan that has created the political conditions for this to happen. “I don’t have many details, but I know that one train is coming,” he emphasized.
He noted that there are certain issues related to the Georgian railway's tariffs; however, these will be resolved. If they are not resolved and if the businesses continue to be interested, alternative ways will be sought for organizing imports and exports.
