No one will leave until Ukraine's funding issue is resolved, Ursula von der Leyen

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, has stated that the European Union must make a decision today regarding funding for Ukraine for the next two years.

In a press briefing before the European Council meeting, von der Leyen noted that she has presented two options for Ukraine’s funding, which are currently under discussion. The first option involves funding through budgetary loans from the EU, while the second utilizes the so-called 'reparatory loan' mechanism.

“Today we must discuss which option we are choosing. We have a duty to find a solution today,” emphasized the President of the European Commission.
