Kocharian and Russian Businessman Accused of Invading the Mother See Plan Their Own Assault, Says Ruben Rubinyan

Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan made a post on his Facebook page addressing calls from the opposition to gather at the Mother See. He wrote:

“For months, Kocharian, who has accused us of intervening in the internal affairs of the Mother See and ‘plundering’ it, along with a Russian businessman, are now preparing to intervene in ecclesiastical internal affairs and plunder the Mother See. And all of this at the invitation of Katriç Nersisyan.

I’m just curious: when Kocharian said that in his opinion the opposition movement should be led by one of the archbishops, and months later that’s exactly what happened, was it the result of Kocharian’s directive that Katriç Nersisyan carried out, or did both Kocharian and Nersisyan receive such directions from their common ‘master’?”
