The price of gold has surpassed $4,400 per ounce for the first time in history.

As of 8:17 PM local time in Armenia, the price of one troy ounce reached $4,402.85. Earlier, the market price of silver also set a new record, exceeding $65 per troy ounce for the first time ever.
