Five Individuals Exhibiting Inadequate and Provocative Behavior Removed from Mother See Area, Says Ministry of Internal Affairs Spokesperson

Five individuals exhibiting inadequate and provocative behavior have been removed from the Mother See area. This was reported to Auroranews by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Narek Sargsyan. No arrests have been made.

It is reminded that today, on December 18, two opposing assemblies took place in the Mother See area. Participants of the first assembly, who arrived at the Mother See at the call of various opposition political forces, were supporters of Catholicos Garegin II and gathered at 15:30. The second assembly consisted of citizens who, at the call of 10 bishops, demanded the resignation of the Catholicos.
