Turkey Wants to Return Russian S-400s: Bloomberg

Bloomberg reports that Turkey is looking to return the S-400 air defense missile system to Russia in an effort to improve relations with the United States and acquire American F-35 fighter jets.

“Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan raised the issue of the S-400 systems during a meeting last week with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin,” the U.S. news agency states, citing its own sources.

Ankara hopes that this move will put an end to the controversial deal that has created tension in relations with the United States and other NATO members.
