Trade Between China and Armenia Increased
In the past year, mutual trade between China and Armenia has increased by 22.5 percent, a positive indicator. This was announced by Li Xinwei, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Armenia, during a press conference with journalists.
The diplomat noted that 2025 is a very symbolic year for him, as it marks the year he was appointed ambassador in Armenia. He expressed that it is a great honor to participate in the process of elevating China-Armenia relations to a new level, especially regarding the signing of the document on establishing strategic partnership.
Li Xinwei also considered Armenia's accession to the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) a significant event. The ambassador assured that China is ready to provide support to Armenia within this process, emphasizing that it serves as an additional basis for deepening bilateral cooperation.
The head of the diplomatic mission pointed out that China and Armenia are ancient civilizations with a rich history spanning thousands of years. He remarked that in a changing world, both countries strive for development, and the results of bilateral cooperation will be visible and tangible for both peoples.
