I'm Ready to Fight, Even 10 Days in Advance. Tsarukyan on His Plans
Arman Tsarukyan has announced his willingness to participate in the upcoming fight for the interim UFC lightweight title. "I will be an unofficial backup fighter for the fight between Pimblett and Gaethje. If either of them gets injured, I will be ready to fight even 10 or 5 days in advance. I will keep my weight, even if I won’t cut it. If I am needed, I will be there. This is why I need to stay in good shape, train, and do sparring. I need to try to avoid injuries for the upcoming fights, but at the same time, I will give my 100 percent to not disappoint those who come to watch impressive fights.
I will welcome the New Year in Armenia, and immediately after that, I will go to Los Angeles. We have a difficult road ahead," Tsarukyan said at a press conference ahead of the ACB JJ tournament.
It is worth noting that Paddy Pimblett and Justin Gaethje will compete for the interim UFC lightweight title at UFC 324, which will take place in Las Vegas, USA, on January 25.
