The Lands Where Russians Have Lived for Centuries Must Again Become Russian: Lavrov
Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated during a broadcast on Iran's state television and radio corporation that the United States has made it clear that the lands where Russians have lived for centuries should once again become Russian.
According to him, addressing the Ukrainian conflict requires first eliminating its "radical causes." Lavrov noted that these causes are linked to the eastward expansion of NATO.
"Therefore, these radical causes must be addressed. It is good that the Americans have understood this. They have clarified that Ukraine's accession to NATO is excluded. And they have made it clear that the lands where Russians have lived for centuries should once again become Russian," emphasized Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
