Teen Attacks Students with Knife, One Child Killed in Russia
In a school in the village of Gorki-2, near Moscow, a teenager launched a knife attack against security personnel and students, resulting in the death of one fourth-grade child and injuries to four others. This is reported by the press service of the Russian Investigative Committee, as cited by TASS.
The attacker made a selfie against the backdrop of the slain fourth grader. He also posted a picture of his helmet with extremist quotes, including the word "Sygaown," referencing the mass shootings that took place in the United States in 2022. In another image, the name Brenton Tarrant is written on his jacket, referring to the mass murder that occurred in the Christchurch mosques in New Zealand.
According to the Baza Telegram channel, four individuals have been reported injured. The assailant has taken a student from Usenskaya High School hostage, and negotiations are currently underway.
