Sharp Drop in Gold Prices on International Markets

The price of gold futures for one troy ounce (31.1 grams) has decreased in commodity markets.
According to APA-Economics, referencing stock exchange data, the price of gold futures for February 2026 on the New York COMEX commodity exchange has fallen by 0.43%, reaching $4,316.55 per troy ounce.
Similarly, the price of silver futures for March 2026 on the COMEX has also dropped by 1.11%, reaching $62.88 per ounce.
