Gyumri Mayor's Office Arrests: Hoveyan Brothers to Be Released, Lawyer Says

The judicial hearings regarding the extension of the detention of two of my clients, the Hoveyan brothers, took place in front of the Gyumri Mayor's Office on October 20 and concluded with decisions, lawyer Arsen Babayan reported.

“The day before, in the Anti-Corruption Court, under the chairmanship of Judge Sarkis Petrosyan, and today, under the chairmanship of Sarkis Dadayan, the petitions from the investigators for the extension of the detention of brothers Karen and Karush Hoveyan were reviewed and rejected. I can confidently state that in both court sessions, the law triumphed over politics. The brothers will be released on December 20,” Babayan noted.
