Georgia on Conditions for Restoring Relations with Russia

Georgia is ready to restore relations with Russia; however, the first condition for this is the recognition of Georgia's territorial integrity by Russia. This was announced by Georgia's Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili, according to APA.

He stated that the mentioned condition is the only means for regulating relations. It was also noted that a Russian Foreign Ministry official, Mikhail Kalugin, declared that Moscow intends to normalize relations with Tbilisi. Kalugin stated, 'The main issue is not to use Georgia in games against Russia.'
