Yerevan Opens the World's Largest Playground with Armenian Carpet
Adjacent to the "Republic Square" metro station in Khachkars Park, a unique playground has been unveiled, covered with the world's largest Armenian carpet adorned with intricate designs. The entire playground features EPDM rubber flooring and includes a dragon stone installation.
The playground is free and inclusive, designed for children aged 0-12. Another similar playground is planned for Misak Manushyan Park. This information was shared during a working meeting of the Yerevan City Council led by Mayor Tigran Avinyan.
During the meeting, Avinyan addressed business leaders, stating, “I want our partners to perceive this as a message that the Yerevan Municipality understands partnership through social programs. It is great to operate in Yerevan and to utilize all the infrastructure that this city offers you for the successful implementation of your business. However, please do not forget that you are a part of this society and this city. Esteemed partners, particularly in large businesses, the time has come to take action.”
