Various CP Members to be ‘Questioned’ Again During CP Council Meeting

This Tuesday, various members of the ruling Civil Contract (CP) party are expected to attend a CP council meeting. ArmLur.am reports that a ‘casting’ has been announced during the council meeting, where candidates nominated for the parliamentary elections in 2026 must present their reasons for wanting to become deputies.

The newspaper has learned that during the council meetings, the 20 members pose various questions to the candidates on the CP list, effectively ‘interrogating’ them. The main questioner is, of course, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

It’s worth noting that 383 candidates have been nominated for the electoral list, of which about 200 are expected to be selected for the main elective list of the CP.
