Possibilities for Importing Azerbaijani Oil Products Confirmed by Deputy Prime Minister

Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan confirms that discussions have taken place with the Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister regarding the export of oil and oil products from Azerbaijan to Armenia.

In response to a question from 'Azatutyun' about whether Yerevan and Baku have already agreed on the import of fuel from Azerbaijan, the Deputy Prime Minister replied, 'Yes, there have been discussions, and there are opportunities for cooperation.'

The news agency also inquired about the volumes of imported Azerbaijani fuel, which Armenian companies intend to purchase oil from Azerbaijan, and under what price conditions Azerbaijan is willing to sell oil and oil products to Armenia, as well as whether the prices will be competitive with the fuel imported from Russia. Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan noted, 'The further developments regarding fuel will be in the realm of cooperation between private exporters and importers, and the terms of possible transactions will be market-based.'
