Our Medical Centers Compete with Private Partners: Avinyan
During the operational meeting of the city hall, the renovation works carried out at the healthcare center were also presented. The Yerevan St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center is projected to close with a positive indicator of 308.6 million drams in 2025, whereas in previous years the center operated at a loss, for instance, recording a loss of 368.5 million drams in 2024.
Tigran Avinyan noted that a significant amount of work has been carried out: “Our medical centers are competing with private partners, and the Yerevan City Hall is obliged to ensure that the services provided by our medical centers are of high quality, that our infrastructure meets the latest standards, and we are addressing this issue step by step in all healthcare centers,” he said, emphasizing the importance of compassionate care towards patients.
“We want the residents of Yerevan who use the services of the medical centers belonging to Yerevan to be confident that these services will be of high quality, and that they are cared for, as well as their children,” Avinyan added.
