Dangerous Batches of NAN Not Imported to Armenia: SSTC

The Food Safety Inspection Body has responded to the information that in several European countries, the company "Nestlé" is conducting a voluntary recall of certain batches of the infant formula "NAN" due to possible contamination with Bacillus cereus bacteria. They have begun monitoring the specific product imported into the Republic of Armenia by "Premier Foods" LLC, as reported by the SSTC.

"According to the findings recorded by inspectors from the Inspection Body’s rapid response department, the mentioned batches include: NAN 1 OPTIPRO 2’FL with oligosaccharides, in a tin of 400 g, production date: 22.10.2025, expiration date: 22.10.2027, batch: 52950346AA; NAN 1 OPTIPRO 2’FL with oligosaccharides, in a tin of 800 g, production date: 21.10.2025, expiration date: 21.10.2027, batch: 52940346AB; NAN 1 OPTIPRO 2’FL with oligosaccharides, in a tin of 800 g, production date: 21.10.2025, expiration date: 31.10.2027, batch: 52940346AA; NAN 1 OPTIPRO 2’FL with oligosaccharides, in a cardboard box of 1,050 g, with two inserts, production date: 21.10.2025, expiration date: 14.04.2027, batch: 52940346BA; NAN 1 OPTIPRO 2’FL with oligosaccharides, in a cardboard box of 1,050 g, with two inserts, production date: 22.10.2025, expiration date: 15.04.2027, batch: 52950346BA. None of these batches have been imported into the Republic of Armenia.

Additionally, "Nestlé" has announced that the mentioned batches of products have not been supplied to Armenia through their distribution network. All infant formula substitutes of the Nestlé brand sold through official sales channels in Armenia are completely safe for use and comply with local legislative requirements."
