The Situation Remains Tense: Zelensky
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that the situation in the country remains complicated in the aftermath of Russian strikes. According to him, the recent attacks have significantly damaged civilian infrastructure, leading to disruptions in essential services in several regions.
Zelensky noted that since yesterday, state and emergency services have been busy working on restoring electricity, heating, and water supply in various regions. However, he pointed out that the recovery process requires time, given the scale of the damages.
According to the Ukrainian president, currently, hundreds of thousands of families are without electricity in the Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Chernihiv, Donetsk, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. These areas have endured intensive bombardments in recent days.
He also reported that just in the last week, Russia has launched more than 1,500 attack drones, around 900 guided aerial bombs, and 46 different types of missiles targeting Ukrainian territory.
