Road Conditions: Blizzard in Vardenyats Pass

The Rescue Service reports that roads in the Republic of Armenia are mostly passable. However, the road from Amberd Fortress to Kari Lake in Aragatsotn Province is closed. A blizzard is currently affecting Vardenyats Pass. Drivers are urged to travel exclusively with winter tires.

Regarding Lars, according to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepanavan-Mindlar-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
