UFC President Dana White Discusses Arman Tsarukyan's Situation
UFC President Dana White has once again addressed his views on Arman Tsarukyan, who currently ranks at the top of the lightweight classification. Previously, White faced accusations of unfair treatment towards Tsarukyan, despite the Armenian fighter holding the number one spot in his division, yet not receiving an opportunity to fight for the championship.
“He’s here, he’s with us. We haven’t dismissed him. There’s nothing about him that we don’t like. Personally, I haven’t had an argument with him. He knows why he’s found himself in this situation. He understands how everything has played out behind the scenes. We all know. But we’re not discussing it publicly like a bunch of old women. Many on the internet love to concoct stories to get likes. A lot happens in our business, but we don’t put it out for public discussion,” stated White in an interview with Mac Life, as reported by armsport.am.
Earlier, it was announced that at the beginning of 2026, Justin Gaethje and Paddy Pimblett are set to fight for the interim lightweight title, while Arman Tsarukyan remains the chief contender in the 70 kg weight class, representing Armenia.
