The Detention of Archbishop Mkrtich Extended by Two Months

The detention of Archbishop Mkrtich of the Aragatsotn Diocese has been extended by two months. The decision was made by Karen Farkhoyan, the same judge who previously ruled on the detention.

Lawyer Roman Aharonyan informed Armenia Sputnik that they will appeal the court's decision.

It is worth recalling that Archbishop Mkrtich is accused of obstructing or coercing participation in lawful gatherings, as well as influencing voting results.
